Its body and stroke are cut down so it works correctly on a car already lowered by sport springs — fitting a full-length damper to a lowered car runs it out of travel and destroys the ride. B8 restores proper travel, with performance valving to match. Pair it with lowering springs; it is not intended for standard ride height.

Fitment

Fits 6 models from Alpina and BMW, including BMW 3er Touring (E91) and BMW 3 Series (E90) — see the full list below. Order two to do an axle, four for the whole car. Cover assumes correct installation, the correct tightening torques, and serviceable bump stops and dust covers. A damper run without its protection parts will be scored by road grit — that is wear, not a defect.
