Eibach Ranges: Which Line Does What

Eibach Ranges: Which Line Does What

Suspengo is an official Eibach reseller. Eibach has manufactured performance coil springs in Finnentrop, Germany since 1951, and its catalogue is organised by product line rather than by car — which means the first question is not "what fits my car" but "what am I trying to change". This page sets out each Eibach line we carry, what it does to the car, how far it moves the ride height, and who it suits. Every line below links through to the parts we list for it.

Every Eibach spring and kit we list is supplied with its German type-approval documentation — an ABE or TÜV component certificate — which is what keeps a lowered or raised car legal at inspection in the EU. The certificate file is named in the specification table on each product page.

Lowering springs

Springs only, fitted to the dampers the car already has. The cheapest route to a lower stance and less body roll. All four lines below are progressive-rate designs, so they stay compliant over small inputs and firm up as the spring compresses.

Pro-Kit

What it is for: the standard Eibach lowering spring set, and the line to start with. It drops the car enough to close the arch gap and lower the centre of gravity, without the harshness a short, stiff spring brings.

Ride height change: 10–60 mm at the front, 5–60 mm at the rear, depending on the vehicle and engine.

Who it suits: daily-driven cars where the owner wants a visible drop and flatter cornering but still has to live with the car on poor roads. It works with serviceable standard dampers, so no other parts are needed.

Browse Eibach Pro-Kit — widest coverage in the range, across 56 makes.

Sportline

What it is for: the deep-drop spring. Noticeably lower than Pro-Kit, for the look and the lowest practical centre of gravity. Spring rates rise accordingly, so the car is firmer and wheel travel is shorter.

Ride height change: 15–55 mm at the front, 5–55 mm at the rear.

Who it suits: owners who want maximum drop and accept a firmer ride for it. Eibach recommends pairing Sportline springs with sports dampers — standard dampers that are already worn will not control these rates.

Browse Eibach Sportline

SportlinePLUS

What it is for: Eibach's newer deep-drop set for recent platforms, where the drop achieved varies more widely between engine variants of the same model.

Ride height change: 5–45 mm at the front, 5–45 mm at the rear — engine-dependent, and the specification table on each product page states the figure for that application.

Who it suits: owners of current-generation cars that Pro-Kit and Sportline do not cover. This is the smallest line we carry, so check the fitment list first.

Pro-Lift-Kit

What it is for: raising the car, not lowering it. A spring set that lifts ride height to gain ground clearance and suspension travel on SUVs and crossovers.

Ride height change: raises the car 20–50 mm at the front and 5–50 mm at the rear.

Who it suits: SUV, crossover and van owners who want clearance for rough tracks, forest roads or larger tyres, without going to a full off-road conversion. It is the only Eibach spring line that raises rather than lowers.

Matched spring and damper kits (B12)

The B12 lines are complete suspension sets: Eibach springs supplied together with dampers valved for exactly those spring rates. Because damping and spring rates were developed as a pair, the body is controlled on rebound as well as compression — the part that a spring-only lowering leaves to a damper never tuned for it. These are the right answer when the existing dampers are worn anyway.

B12 Pro-Kit

What it is for: the matched-set equivalent of Pro-Kit. Moderate drop, progressive springs, dampers developed for them.

Ride height change: 10–45 mm at the front, 5–45 mm at the rear.

Who it suits: owners replacing tired suspension who want the drop and the damping sorted in one purchase rather than fitting springs to old dampers.

Browse Eibach B12 Pro-Kit — the largest of the matched-kit lines.

B12 Sportline

What it is for: the deep-drop matched set — Sportline spring rates with dampers valved to match.

Ride height change: 15–50 mm at the front, 10–45 mm at the rear.

Who it suits: owners who want the Sportline stance without the risk of running those rates on standard dampers.

B12 Pro-Kit Damptronic

What it is for: a matched Pro-Kit set for cars with factory electronic damper control. The dampers accept the car's existing adjustment signal, so the driving modes keep working after the kit goes on.

Ride height change: 15–40 mm at the front, 5–35 mm at the rear.

Who it suits: owners of cars with adaptive or electronically adjustable dampers who want to lower the car and keep the factory modes. Fitting a non-Damptronic kit to these cars disables that control and raises a fault code.

B12 Pro-Lift-Kit

What it is for: the matched-set version of Pro-Lift-Kit — lift springs with dampers valved for the raised ride height and the longer travel.

Ride height change: raises the car 20–40 mm at the front and 15–35 mm at the rear.

Who it suits: SUV and crossover owners who want extra clearance and are replacing the dampers at the same time.

Coilovers (Pro-Street)

Threaded-body kits where ride height is set on the spring seat rather than fixed by the spring. The range of adjustment is wide, so the same kit suits a mild drop or a deep one.

Pro-Street-S

What it is for: the height-adjustable coilover kit. Damping is fixed at the factory; ride height is set during fitting and can be changed later.

Ride height change: adjustable across roughly 5–90 mm depending on the application, with each product page stating the range for that car.

Who it suits: owners who want to choose the exact ride height rather than accept a fixed drop, including anyone running non-standard wheel and tyre sizes where a fixed-drop spring would leave too little clearance.

Browse Eibach Pro-Street-S

Pro-Street-Multi

What it is for: the adjustable-damping coilover. Ride height moves on the spring seat and damping force adjusts separately, so compression and rebound can be dialled in once the car is on the road.

Ride height change: adjustable across roughly 10–60 mm depending on the application.

Who it suits: drivers who use the car on track as well as the road and want to change damping between the two. This is the smallest coilover line we carry.

Electronics and anti-roll

Pro-Tronic

What it is for: Eibach's damper control module. It takes over the signal to the car's electronically adjustable dampers, so firmer or softer settings than the factory map allows can be selected — without replacing the dampers.

Ride height change: none. This is an electronic module, not a suspension part.

Who it suits: two groups — owners of cars with factory adaptive dampers who want a wider adjustment range, and owners fitting a B12 or Pro-Street-S kit to a car with electronic damper control, where Pro-Tronic is Eibach's recommended way to avoid the resulting fault code.

Browse Eibach Pro-Tronic

Anti-Roll-Kit

What it is for: uprated anti-roll bars. They resist body roll in corners directly, which sharpens turn-in and reduces lean without changing ride height or ride quality over bumps in a straight line.

Ride height change: none. Bar diameters across the kits we list run from Ø 16 mm to Ø 35 mm, solid and tubular.

Who it suits: owners who have already sorted springs and dampers and want to adjust the car's balance, and anyone who wants flatter cornering without lowering the car at all. Several kits are adjustable, so front-to-rear balance can be tuned.

Ride height figures on this page are the span across the whole line. The figure that applies to a particular car is stated on that product's page, and it is reduced by any lowering the manufacturer already carried out — cars with factory sports suspension drop less than the quoted range. Vehicles with factory-raised suspension, such as off-road or crossover packages, are generally excluded from the lowering lines.

Use the vehicle search on any Eibach collection page to filter by year, make, model and engine, and check the fitment list on the product page before ordering. Where a component certificate requires it, confirm the type-approval number against your vehicle registration document before fitting.
