Warranty

Warranty

Every part sold by Suspengo is covered by a warranty. This page explains your statutory rights as a consumer, the manufacturer warranties offered by Bilstein and Tein, and how to make a claim.

Your Statutory Guarantee

Suspengo is based in Lithuania and sells within the European Union. Under EU consumer law (Directive (EU) 2019/771), consumers in the EU and EEA have a legal guarantee of conformity of 2 years from the date of delivery. If a part is faulty, not as described, or does not perform as it should, you are entitled to a remedy at no cost to you.

This legal guarantee is provided by us as the seller. It applies automatically and cannot be reduced or waived. Customers ordering from outside the EU receive the same 2-year cover from Suspengo on a contractual basis, in addition to any rights under their local law.

Manufacturer Warranty

Bilstein and Tein both provide their own manufacturer warranties on the products we stock. These warranties are offered by the manufacturer, on the manufacturer's terms, and the covered period and conditions are set by them — they may be longer than the statutory 2 years.

A manufacturer warranty is in addition to your statutory guarantee, never a replacement for it. You can always claim against us under the legal guarantee, whichever route is more favourable to you. If you would like the exact warranty terms for a specific Bilstein or Tein part before you buy, email claims@suspengo.com and we will confirm them.

What's Covered

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faults in materials or workmanship
  • Premature failure of the part under normal road use
  • Parts that do not match the description or specification supplied at the time of sale

What's Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear, including the gradual loss of damping performance over the service life of the part
  • Incorrect fitment — parts fitted to a vehicle they were not specified for
  • Damage caused by improper installation or by not following the manufacturer's fitting instructions
  • Misuse, overloading, or neglect of routine maintenance
  • Motorsport, track day, or competition use
  • Modification of the part, or use with components it was not designed to work with
  • Accident, collision, road debris, corrosion from environmental exposure, or other external damage
  • Consequential costs such as fitting and removal labour, towing, or vehicle hire, unless we are legally required to cover them

Correct Installation

Suspension components affect the safety and handling of your vehicle. We strongly recommend that all parts are fitted by a qualified mechanic in line with the manufacturer's instructions, and any required geometry alignment is carried out afterwards.

Please keep your fitting invoice. If a claim relates to a fault that could have been caused during installation, the manufacturer may require proof of professional fitting before approving it.

Proof of Purchase

You will need your Suspengo order confirmation or invoice to make a claim. Please keep it safe, along with the fitting invoice where applicable. If you cannot find your order confirmation, email us and we will retrieve it from your order history.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Email claims@suspengo.com with your order number, the part in question, and a description of the fault.
  2. Attach clear photos of the defect, and the fitting invoice if the part has been installed.
  3. We will assess your claim and respond within 3 business days. Where the manufacturer needs to inspect the part, we will tell you and keep you updated.
  4. If the claim is approved, we will send you a return authorisation and instructions for sending the part back.
  5. Package the part securely, ideally in its original packaging, and return it using the instructions provided.

How We'll Put It Right

Where a claim is accepted under the statutory guarantee, EU consumer law gives you the right to have the part repaired or replaced free of charge. We will normally offer a replacement, as this is usually the quickest outcome for suspension parts.

If repair or replacement is not possible, would take an unreasonably long time, or the same fault occurs again, you are entitled to a price reduction or to cancel the purchase for a refund. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of us receiving the returned part.

Warranty and Returns Are Different Things

A warranty claim covers a part that is faulty. If you have simply changed your mind, please see our Returns & Exchanges page — unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
