Which variants this covers
Five generations are listed — CD, CG, CL, CP and CU — covering saloons and the estate variants, with Type R and Type S models among them. Bilstein and Tein coverage is close to even here, and the two split by purpose: Bilstein for restoring standard damping, Tein for lowering and adjustable setups. Estates differ from saloons at the rear. Parts are matched by chassis code, not model year.
Choosing between the ranges
Bilstein B4 is the largest group and the OE-comparable replacement — standard height, original springs, factory ride restored. Bilstein B6 is firmer at the same height for drivers who want more body control. To lower the car, Tein S.Tech springs work with healthy original dampers and Bilstein B12 supplies dampers and springs matched as a kit. For adjustable ride height the Tein coilovers carry this page: Street Basis Z as the entry point, Street Advance Z above it and Flex Z with full-length height adjustment and 16 damping levels, plus Mono Sport for track work. Bilstein B8 is not stocked for the Accord.
What to check before ordering
Front and rear are separate listings; fit in axle pairs, renew strut bearings and protection kits with them, and align afterwards. The Accord caveat is size and body: these generations span a wide range of weights and two quite different rear ends, so an estate rear damper is not a saloon part. Confirm both the chassis code and the body style.
Common questions for this chassis
Will CL parts fit a CU? No — different generations, different struts.
Saloon and estate the same at the rear? Usually not. Check the rear listing against your body.
Best route to a lower Accord? S.Tech springs for a fixed drop, Flex Z coilovers to set the height yourself.
