Which variants this covers
The R35 is covered as a single chassis, all-wheel drive, across its long production run. The car left the factory with adaptive dampers as standard, and that is the governing fact for anything on this page: fitting a passive kit means replacing that system rather than working alongside it. Later model years were revised more than once, so the build year matters when matching parts.
Choosing between the ranges
This is a short list and a specialised one, which suits the car. S.Tech springs are the only option that leaves the standard dampers in place, and therefore the only one that keeps the factory adaptive system intact — the sensible choice if you want the car a little lower and nothing else changed. The three damper kits all replace the standard setup entirely. Mono Sport is the most road-usable of them, Mono Racing is a circuit damper, and Super Racing is the most extreme of the three and is intended for competition rather than for a car that also drives on the road. Given what the standard suspension on an R35 cost to develop, replacing it is a decision worth making deliberately.
What to check before ordering
Fit per axle and have the car corner-weighted and aligned by someone who has done an R35 before — the all-wheel-drive system is sensitive to ride height and cross-weights. The thing to settle first is the adaptive damper question above: it determines whether you are looking at springs alone or at a full kit, and it is not a decision to reverse cheaply.
Common questions for this chassis
Can I keep the standard adaptive dampers? Yes, with S.Tech springs. The damper kits replace the system.
Which kit is usable on the road? Mono Sport. The racing kits are built for circuit use.
Is Bilstein stocked for the R35? No. The coverage here is Tein only.
