Performance

B4 Airmatic is Bilstein's replacement for factory air-suspension struts and modules. It reproduces the original unit's damping and air-spring function so the self-levelling system behaves as designed, rather than substituting a conventional damper. Fitting a standard damper in place of an Airmatic unit disables levelling — this is the part that keeps the system intact. This unit is monotube: gas and oil are separated by a floating piston, which keeps damping consistent when the damper is worked hard and heat builds.

What's Included

One Bilstein B4 Airmatic air-suspension module for the rear axle (either side) — a single corner, not a pair. Order two to do an axle. Air lines, level sensors and fixings are re-used from the vehicle; they are not supplied with the unit.
