Performance

B2 is Bilstein's twin-tube hydraulic damper, an older line built for OE-equivalent replacement on the vehicles it was developed for. Damping is consistent and predictable rather than sporting, and the hydraulic (non-gas) construction suits the applications it was originally specified on. One Bilstein B2 damper unit for the front axle (either side) — a single shock absorber, not a pair and not an axle set. Order two to do an axle, four for the whole car. Mounting is top pin. Bump stops, dust covers, top mounts and fixings are not included.
