Bilstein B6 Performance shock absorber for the VW T6 Bus Caravelle and T6 California — Bilstein Shock Absorber 22-318268.

Specifications

• Type: Gas Pressure
• Series: B6 Performance

Performance

B6 is the uprated damper for a car kept at standard ride height. Bilstein firms up the valving over the OE curve, so body roll settles sooner, the nose dives less under braking and the car tracks straighter at speed. You feel more of the road surface than with B4, which is the point — it is a handling upgrade, not a comfort one, and it needs no springs to work.

Fitment

Fits VW T6 Bus Caravelle (SGB, SGJ, SHB, SHJ), 04/2015–08/2024, FWD and VW T6 California (SGC, SGG, SHC), 04/2015–08/2024, FWD — see the full list below. Verify fitment using the vehicle compatibility checker above. OEM References: 7LA 413 031 E, 7LA 413 031 F, 7LA 413 031 H, 7LA 413 031 K.

What's Included

One Bilstein B6 damper unit — a single shock absorber, not a pair and not an axle set. Order two to do an axle, four for the whole car. Bump stops, dust covers, top mounts and fixings are not included.

Warranty

Backed by Bilstein's manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Cover assumes correct installation, the correct tightening torques, and serviceable bump stops and dust covers. A damper run without its protection parts will be scored by road grit — that is wear, not a defect.
