Performance

B8 is the shortened damper. Its body and stroke are cut down so it works correctly on a car already lowered by sport springs — fitting a full-length damper to a lowered car runs it out of travel and destroys the ride. B8 restores proper travel, with performance valving to match. Pair it with lowering springs; it is not intended for standard ride height. This unit is monotube: gas and oil are separated by a floating piston, which keeps damping consistent when the damper is worked hard and heat builds.

What's Included

One Bilstein B8 damper unit for the front axle (either side) — a single shock absorber, not a pair and not an axle set. Order two to do an axle, four for the whole car. Mounting is bottom fork. Bump stops, dust covers, top mounts and fixings are not included.
