Performance

B6 is the uprated damper for a car kept at standard ride height. Bilstein firms up the valving over the OE curve, so body roll settles sooner, the nose dives less under braking and the car tracks straighter at speed. You feel more of the road surface than with B4, which is the point — it is a handling upgrade, not a comfort one, and it needs no springs to work. This unit is monotube: gas and oil are separated by a floating piston, which keeps damping consistent when the damper is worked hard and heat builds.

What's Included

One Bilstein B6 damper unit for the rear axle (either side) — a single shock absorber, not a pair and not an axle set. Order two to do an axle, four for the whole car. Mounting is bottom eye. Bump stops, dust covers, top mounts and fixings are not included.
