Performance
B1 is Bilstein's suspension service range — the protection kits, bump stops, dust covers and strut support bearings that sit around the damper. They are wear parts: a collapsed bump stop or split dust cover lets grit onto the piston rod and will kill a new damper early. Built to the same standards as the dampers they protect, and worth replacing at the same time.
Fitment
Fits Mercedes-Benz B Klasse Sports Tourer (W246, W242), 10/2011–12/2018, FWD and Mercedes-Benz A Class (W176), 06/2012–05/2018, FWD — see the full list below. Verify fitment using the vehicle compatibility checker above. OEM References: 246 326 00 64, A 246 326 00 64
