Product Details
Tein Flex-Z Height-Adjustable Coilover Kit for 1989–1990 Toyota Mr2 — Tein Flex Z Damper Kit, Sw20 -C - VST04-C1SA4.
Specifications
- Coverage: Front & Rear (complete vehicle set — 4 units)
- Type: Coilover
- Damping System: Mono-Tube
- Height Adjustment: Yes — vehicle-height adjustable
Performance
Flex Z is Tein's full street coilover: ride height and damping are both adjustable, with 16 damping steps and a wide height range. Height is set on the threaded body independently of spring preload, which is what keeps the ride usable at low settings. Developed for road use, with enough adjustment to change the car's character rather than just its stance.
Fitment
Fits Toyota Mr2 (SW20), 10/1989–1999, RWD and Toyota Mr2 (SW20L), 1990–1999, RWD — see the full list below. Verify fitment using the vehicle compatibility checker above.
What's Included
One complete Tein Flex Z kit — four units, front and rear, for the whole vehicle. Threaded bodies and adjustment collars are part of the kit. Springs, top mounts and fixings are not included unless the specification table lists them.
Warranty
Backed by Tein's manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Cover assumes the kit is installed as a complete set and set up within the ride-height and damping range Tein publishes for it — running a coilover outside its tested height range is the usual reason a claim fails, so keep the setup inside the manual's figures and have the alignment checked afterwards. As an official reseller in the EU, Suspengo also handles your statutory conformity rights on this purchase — contact us first and we deal with the manufacturer.
Notes
On type i vehicle (oct 1989 - nov 1991), clearance between bottom of shock absorber and vehicle body might be narrow and there might be some interference, due to individual difference.
