Tein Street Basis Z Shock Absorbers (Damper Kit) GST04-8USS2 – Toyota MR2 (SW20L)

Tein Street Basis Z Entry-Level Coilover Kit for 1990 Toyota Mr2 — Tein Street Basis Z Damper Kit, Sw21L - GST04-8USS2.

Specifications

• Coverage: Front & Rear (complete vehicle set — 4 units)
• Type: Coilover
• Height Adjustment: Yes — vehicle-height adjustable

Performance

Street Basis Z is Tein's entry coilover. Ride height adjusts on the threaded body; damping is factory-set rather than adjustable, which keeps the price down and removes any setup decisions. Valving is chosen for balanced street use. The straightforward option when you want the stance and control of a coilover without tuning it.

Fitment

Fits Toyota Mr2 (SW20L), 1990–1999, RWD — see the full list below. Verify fitment using the vehicle compatibility checker above.

What's Included

One complete Tein Street Basis Z kit — four units, front and rear, for the whole vehicle. Threaded bodies and adjustment collars are part of the kit. Springs, top mounts and fixings are not included unless the specification table lists them.

Warranty

Backed by Tein's manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Cover assumes the kit is installed as a complete set and set up within the ride-height and damping range Tein publishes for it — running a coilover outside its tested height range is the usual reason a claim fails, so keep the setup inside the manual's figures and have the alignment checked afterwards. Notes

Wheel spacers may be required to avoid interference with the OEM wheel (depending on vehicle trim/OEM wheel package). Please check for clearance prior to using any wheel spacers.
